Welcome to IndoLingo! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the IndoLingo platform (the "Platform”), whether as a student ("Learner”) or instructor ("Teacher”). By using our services, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
"Platform": Refers to the IndoLingo website, mobile app, and associated services.
"User": Refers to both Learners and Teachers registered on IndoLingo.
"Lesson": A scheduled one-on-one online session between a Learner and a Teacher.
"Content": Includes any text, audio, video, files, or other materials shared via the Platform.
You must be at least 18 years old to register as a Teacher.
Learners under 18 must have parental or guardian permission and supervision.
You may not use the Platform if you are barred under applicable laws or previously banned from IndoLingo.
Users must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
Each user may only maintain one active account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
IndoLingo is an intermediary platform that connects Learners with Teachers for online Indian language instruction.
IndoLingo is not responsible for the quality of lessons or learning outcomes.
All interactions between Users must be conducted via the Platform.
Lesson fees are set by Teachers and paid through the Platform.
IndoLingo may charge a service fee on each transaction.
Cancellations made less than 12 hours before the scheduled lesson may be non-refundable.
Teachers receive payment for completed lessons, less IndoLingo’s service fee.
Teachers must ensure their payment details are accurate and up to date.
IndoLingo reserves the right to withhold payments in the event of disputes, chargebacks, or policy violations.
Treat Teachers with respect and courtesy at all times.
Be punctual, prepared, and participate actively during lessons.
Do not solicit personal information or contact Teachers outside of the Platform.
Refrain from offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate behavior.
Provide high-quality, personalized instruction tailored to Learner needs.
Maintain a respectful and professional demeanor.
Be punctual and prepared for all lessons.
Do not share personal contact details or communicate outside the Platform.
Do not provide false qualifications or misrepresent your experience.
IndoLingo reserves the right to investigate and remove any User who violates this Code of Conduct.
Cancellations must be made through the Platform at least 12 hours before the scheduled time.
Refunds are granted at IndoLingo’s sole discretion.
Frequent cancellations or no-shows may result in account suspension.
We encourage Users to resolve disputes amicably.
If unresolved, Users may contact IndoLingo support for assistance.
IndoLingo’s decision in such disputes shall be final and binding.
Users retain ownership of the content they upload, but grant IndoLingo a non-exclusive license to use it for service provision and promotion.
Users may not record, reproduce, or share lessons without consent from all parties.
Misrepresentation of identity or qualifications.
Sharing harmful, illegal, or infringing content.
Attempting to bypass IndoLingo's payment system.
Harassment, discrimination, or exploitation of other Users.
IndoLingo may change or discontinue any aspect of the Platform at any time without notice.
IndoLingo reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.
Users may delete their accounts at any time via the account settings.
IndoLingo provides the Platform "as is” without warranties of any kind.
IndoLingo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Users agree to indemnify and hold IndoLingo harmless from any claims arising out of their use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of [Insert Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of laws rules.
